The series so far

Firestone is the first book in the series is out now to buy, and was released in May 2021.

Orbis is the second book in the series is nearly ready for release, and is due out in February 2022.

Tempus, the third book in the series, is now in production.

On the world of Tellus there are two ways of doing things: the Old Way and the New Way. In the city of Portis-Montis, these two ways and their worlds collide.

Hugh Geber is the alchemist at the University of Science and Progression. In a world where everyone follows the family career, he has found himself the last in line to carry the torch.

When a meeting with Chancellor Robert James Smithson leaves him with an impossible deadline and two mysterious packages, Hugh is left with no choice but to try and save the family name along with his job. Fate, however, is not on his side, and his world is turned upside-down.

Now Hugh must not only fight for his place within the university, but also find out what lies behind the mysterious package before time runs out.

Hugh Geber has found himself at a dead end. Robert J Smithson is hot on his heels, and the Elf King is on the move once more. The book he and Barrington are desperate to find is missing, with a mysterious note in its place. Left with no other choice, they have to head home to Portis-Montis empty handed knowing they are not the only ones seeking the book.

Hugh wants to bury his problems, but when he opens a letter from his presumed-deceased father, his decision to ignore his troubles comes back to bite him. A meeting with Balinas Collins in the university library adds to his woes, causing Hugh and Barrington to follow the path being set out in front of them.

Now they must continue searching for the missing book but also carry out another task vital to the safety of both Old and New worlds, all whilst trying to evade the long arm of the law. Will they find the book first? Or will Smithson beat them to it? Will the Elf King regain his seat and the power he so desperately yearns for? Only time will tell, but time is running out. Fast!

Tempus - In Editing

Hugh Geber, Barrington Delphin and Emily Le Fey are in hiding under the protection of the Collins family at the University for Science and Progression, after returning to Portis-Montis with the lore book for magic. The unexpected arrival of Adelia Geber, Hugh’s sister in law, has only added to the complicated mix.

Three books of lore still remain out in the open, and tensions are rising across the New World, with reports that the battle for Skellig-Krieg against forces loyal to the Elf King, is expected to happen within within days.

When their cover is blown, the group must decide whether to leave Portis-Montis unprepared to look for the next book of lore, or to join those readying for the battle of Skellig-Krieg — a decision which threatens to pull the group of friends apart. When the news reaches them that the Elf King, and Robert Smithson are already on the trail for the next book of lore, the group must face their woes head on. The situation couldn’t be more dire.

Now they must decide between joining a battle that threatens to destroy not only the world in which they live, but also harm those they hold close, or to go after the books, which in the wrong hands will spell disaster for the world at large.
